保护环境
Environment is the valuable wealth that nature has given us, plant is one of nature's natural barrier, animals are man's most loyal friend, fresh water is the source of our lives. But people only talk about environmental protection and never take action.
Every time I see the lawn being trampled by people and the signs of love and flowers are thrown down, my heart is cut like a knife.
I love the environment, I love every corner of my life, I love this beautiful earth, so I protect the ecology around me.
Once, when my grandmother and I returned home, we couldn't wait to run to the little pond in our childhood. On the way, I thought, the pond must still be here, the crystal clear. But the pond was gone. There were layers of stinky water on the surface of the water. The stream broke my childhood memories and protected the ecological environment, and added a pen to my heart.
There is a vibrant green ecology around me. Green, the color of life, stands for life and hope, makes the color of life fill the earth, moves to protect the environment.

有一次，我和奶奶回乡下，就迫不及待的跑向那条童年时代的小池塘。路上，我还在想，以前那清澈见底，小金鱼到处嬉戏的池塘一定还在。可是呢——池塘已经不在了。水面上泛着层层臭水，夹扎着垃圾。小河打破了我童年的记忆，保护生态环境的念头，又在我心里添上了一笔。
在我的身边处处有着生机盎然的绿色生态。绿色，生命之色，代表着生机与希望，让生命之色开满地球，行动起来，保护环境。

The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Bird flu and Sars are two typical examples that environmental destruction may threaten our life. Besides, forest destruction , water and air pollution result in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather.
Serious as the problem seems, we can come up with some measures to deal with it. First of all, the authorities should adopt the policy of "sustainable development", and laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforced strictly just as our government has been doing.
What' s more, every citizen should realize the seriousness of the problem and make concerted efforts to protect our environment. In addition, planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment.

With the improvement of our living standard， more and more people can afford a car。 As a result， our roads are more often than not crammed with cars。 However， with more and more waste gas being discharged by the cars， the problem of air pollution bees even more serious。 So nowadays we advocate to lead a low-carbon life。
My suggestion is we should ride bikes more often instead of driving cars。By riding a bike， we can not only exercise our body but also protect our environment。 Why not have a try， my dear friends?
