Last Friday, our teacher told us that we would go to plant trees along the South Lake the next day.
Today, I got up early because I was so happy and excited. I got to the school gate with a bucket. All the classmates were waiting for me. I was sorry about that. We set off at 7:00. Near the South Lake, we dug holes happily. When we finished digging, we were very tired, but we were happy. So we planted more trees there. After all the trees were planted, we carried some water to water them with the buckets.
We worked until 5:00. “Wow, they are beautiful!” We cheered. These trees looked like the sea.
I had a nice dream that evening. I dreamt that my hometown had been covered with trees, we could breathe fresh air all the time. The more trees, the better the world will be!
