Family
My son, when he was 4 years old, began to show great interest in the English word ‘family’ after he had watched the public-interest advertisement of ‘family’ on CCTV. Recently, he has asked me to teach him how to write on his word-pad, and the first English word he wants to learn is ‘family’ because he likes it very much.
Actually, there are a lot of stories about the origin of the English word ‘family’, and one of them goes like this: long, long ago, people should say ‘father and mother, I love you’ to deliver their appreciation to their parents when they got up every morning, and later they created a new word ‘family’ instead of ‘father and mother I love you’ by connecting the first letters of these six words. Another story says that family is from the Latin word ‘familia’ , which means ‘family, household’ and originally ‘slaves of the household.’
‘Family’, in my opinion, could also be understood as ‘female and male interdependently live yearly’. ‘F’ means ‘female’ , ‘A’ is for ‘and’, ‘M’ symbolizes ‘male’, ‘L’ stands for ‘interdependently’, ‘L’ is the short form of ‘live’, and ‘y’ could be known as ‘yearly’.
We all have a family. But it really takes great efforts for a family to live long. We have heard of too many stories about family’s being ‘dead’ from the reports and the people around us; we have seen so many divorces! There are various reasons for a family to become broken, but one thing that we can be sure is that they still do not really understand the true meaning of family. Whenever a divorce occurs, it is not right for us to blame only one of them, for it must be mistakes made by a couple together rather than by a single member in a family.
Actually, there are some codes hiding in the word I think. ‘F’ shows ‘frankness’, ‘A’ can expresses ‘allowance’, ‘M’ delivers ‘mildness’, ‘I’ implies ‘independence’, ‘l’ signifies ‘loyalty’, and ‘y’ points to ‘yearning’. Frankness is a basis to each member in the family, and it is an attitude to your other ‘half’; allowance is a foundation, which shows trust to your family; mildness is a requirement, carrying your respect to your spouse. Interdependence is necessity, and it includes another one’s significance in your heart; loyalty is centrality that contains responsibility to your lover; yearning is a pillar, your love to your family. )
The six letters of the word ‘family’ are just like the six surfaces of a cube. Without a single side, a cube would not exist while without a single member, a family would not last.

Miracles were created one by one in china in last 30 years. Politicians are pleased,experts are amused, businessmen are excited , the world is shocked.
But, do china need miracles?
China is a young man, his hands are tender, his shoulders are fragile, his experiece is shortened, his ability is limited. Miracles were created, and his boby, his power and his future were overdrafted. He is tired. He needs a rest and reconsideration. Your people are also tired, your people need time.
Miracle is a dream which is made by the politicians, and the experts push it , the businessmen build it. They built a colorful dream for people, but it belongs to them not to your people. The dream has submerged its morality, credibility, faith.
A country is like a body, law is his bone, morality is his blood, credibility is his
muscle,and faith is his vessel. Without law, the dream is olny a story, without
morality, the dream is only a bubble, without credibility, the dream is only a myth,
without faith, the dream is only a dream.
Don’t let the number get you lost, don’t let last achievements cover your eyes, don’t let surface phonomenon make your dizzy, don’t let others applause influence your judgement. You should look around your history, your should ask your people, you should question yourself.
Don't dream to be number one in the world, don't challenge your limits, don't test the ability of your people. You need time too.
Your people understand your love but can not feel it. You moved too quickly, it brought not only prosperity, growth and confidence but also puzzles, pains, tears and worries. All your people need are to live respectfully, easily, and happily. Their feeling will tell them what is wrong or right.
China, don’t march so fast. Your people are not ready, your socity is not ready and your country is not ready.
So slow down your foot, please.

In the year of 20xx，famous writer Jia pingao wrote a book ‘Still Water Runs in Deep’. It includes three parts: ‘I Am Peasant’, ‘Ancient Xi an’, ‘On the Road to the West’. He explained the ‘deep’ means the taste, idea and wisdom of a human being which describes higher state of a people. The ‘water’ is compared to the character of a human being, that is the nature, honest and kindness. The ‘still water’ shows the attitude, manner and opinion of a person to life.
‘Still’ is connotation of the water, ‘deep’ is height of the water, ‘run’ is character of the water. Water is the resource of human life, which is also the most important part of a human body. The human being should be as the water: clear, free and simple.
‘Still Water Runs in Deep’ is the spirit of enterprise of China Power Investment Holding company(CPI). From the part of individuality in the CPI, I understand the ‘water’ means the employees who should do things right anytime and work hard every day, the ‘still water’ means the quality of the employees should have, the ‘run’ means vigor and vitality of the employees, the ‘deep’ means what the employees should pursuit and look for, and ‘still water runs in deep’ means loyalty and devotion of a employee for his (her) company.
From the part of the CPI, the ‘water’ shows its responsibility, the ‘still water’ shows its idea, the ‘run’ shows its blueprint, the ‘deep’ shows its power, and ‘still water runs in deep’ shows its culture.
To be a person, we should seek pure as ‘water’, treat frustration or achievement, failure or success correctly in our life as ‘still water’, pursuit our dreams as running water, focus on self-cultivation as ‘deep’, and try to be respected and honored by others in society as ‘still water runs in deep’.
The water has life, but indifferent to fame and wealth. It is needed in everywhere and anytime. It exists in silence, but everyone knows in the heart. If a person could do as water running in deep, he (her) has understood the meaning of life and he (her) is the happiest and richest in the world.
