I've got a deep secret few people understand and even fewer will admit to sharing. It's time to tell the truth: I love the rain, deeply and passionately and more than the sun. At least I live in the right place, famous for its damp weather and spawning its own genuine rainforest. I can't imagine living anywhere else than the Pacific Northwest. The sun shines so infrequently that my friends forget where they put their sunglasses. Gloomy clouds cause many people around here to suffer from seasonal affective disorder. Yet I welcome the rain.
Seattleites will say they like how rain keeps the city green, how clean the air tastes afterwards. My real reason for enjoying the rain is steeped in pure selfishness when it's mucky outside, I don't have to do anything. I can spend the afternoon curled up reading, build a fire and make a big pot of spiced tea. I can sleep in late, waking up occasionally to hear soothing patter on the roof, water racing down the gutter. Nobody expects me to leave my house or do anything overly productive. Maybe I'll invite a few friends over to watch an old movie or play a board game. Friends' expectations are low and easy to meet.
Summer in Seattle is beautiful but exhausting. The sunny, gorgeous weather and blue skies draw Seattleites from their cozy little homes, ready to dry out and have fun. People go hiking, biking, canoeing. Folks work in their gardens, wash their cars and attend outdoor concerts in the park all in the same day! The effort involved to throw a party ratchets up several notches, as people host barbecues and picnics and water-skiing parties.

She had been shopping with her Mom in Wal-Mart. She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful brown haired, freckle-faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the Earth, it has no time to flow down the spout.

We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Wal-Mart. We all waited, some patiently, others irritated, because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by rainfall. I get lost in the sound and sight of the heavens washing away the dirt and dust of the world. Memories of running, splashing so carefree as a child come pouring in as a welcome reprieve from the worries of my day.

"What?" Mom asked.

"Let's run through the rain!" She repeated.

This young child waited about another minute and repeated: "Mom, let's run through the rain."

"We'll get soaked if we do." Mom said.

"No, we won't, Mom. That's not what you said this morning," the young girl said as she tugged at her Mom's arm."

"This morning? When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?"

The entire crowd stopped dead silent. I swear you couldn't hear anything but the rain. We all stood silently. No one came or left in the next few minutes. Mom paused and thought for a moment about what she would say.

Then off they ran.

We all stood watching, smiling and laughing as they darted past the cars and. They held their shopping bags over their heads just in case. They got soaked. But they were followed by a few who screamed and laughed like children all the way to their cars. And yes, I did. I ran. I got wet. I needed washing.Circumstances or people can take away your material possessions, they can take away your money, and they can take away your health. But no one can ever take away your precious memories. So, don't forget to make time and take the opportunities to make memories every day!

Rain is one of the most beautiful moments of nature. Rain is thefalling of water from the clouds coming back to the earth, which is taken indirectly by the sun.
Rain is a very beautiful moment that can enhance any person, and is able to make many people toadmit it as a great blessing of God bestowed upon man by him in some specific time.
Nature is beautiful and it has many forms, and scenes, each of which is different to one anotherand varies in their beauty. Rain is one of them that give a real feeling of happiness and gratitude ina sad or mournful time.

By the grace of God, I’ve been able to see many scene and many beauties of nature. Rain is onlythe most beautiful and relief giving moment in the time of dolefulness. I can’t forget the rainy daythat I spent with my friends some days ago.
I still remember each of its moment, and I don’t think that I would forget that fascinatingmoments. That day I came from school, back to home and was much tired because of continuousfull length papers. I was too much depressed because of my performance, which was good butnot excellent, even after continuous and hard struggle. I came back to home after relaxing fewminutes, washed my face with addition to ablution and took a bath. Even the water was too muchhot that even after taking bath I didn’t feel too much cold. That day was a summer day withburning heat.
After bath, I offered prayer and ate something. When I was free, I really thought, as if it wouldhave rained. That thought was too much adorable that was enjoying a cold water rain with nomore heat. After that I look to the sun with its full light and sky with no clouds, this made mythoughts crushed into the garbage.
“The rain in the burning heat of summer is a blessing of God”
That time it was being realized that rain is not just water; rather it is a big relief and a great blessingof Allah Almighty, in the burning heat of summer. The burning heat, hot shinning sun and noclouds in the sky were the proof for no chances of rain.
Even at that time, I didn’t know why but I still wanting to enjoy the rain, as if it would rain becauseI’m saying. I shunt off my thoughts and went into my room and started thinking that why is therethis much heat and un-reliable time? Why there is no rain and why we are not being able to seethe heaven’s most beautiful eyes? And why we are not being able to enjoy the beat part of thebeauty?

But then I thought and clicked my mind that it is due to sins of humanity which is careless of manythings, not knowing its consequence. I was just thinking about that then I prayed to God toforgive us for our sins and take away that hellish exam of heat and hot weather back.Consequently, when I reached up on the 2nd storey of my house and went outside to theterrace, then I saw that most of the sunlight was gone and there were lot of clouds appearing inthe sky. Suddenly water dropped on my nose and I became too much happy, knowing that itbegan to rain today.

Suddenly, it rained and millions of drops of water fell on me. I was smiling and I don’t think anythingelse. This moment brought a smile on my face, that day. All the heat was gone and I was justthanking God for this blessing with a feeling of gratitude. All that time it was looking like that noweven the earth was thirsty for water, flowery buds were waiting for many season to came and thento bloom.

I’ve experienced many other rains in my life but it was the most memorable because it came in theneed of hour. This rainy day was most memorable for me and after the rain I was able to enjoyeven more due to open, dairy, and cold weather while I was seeing the rainbow formed by therays of the sunlight. Then the fair weather came after the rain which made me to rejoice evenmore and enjoy life.

This rain was very enjoyable and I can’t forge it for the reason it was enjoyment plus my necessity,and Allah Almighty heard and also did what I said. It’s really greatness of God. Rain is really agreat blessing of God.

At the end I conclude mu essay by saying that the rain is grace, rain is the sky condescending toearth, without rain, and there would be no life. Rain gives new life to the whole atmosphere.
