考研英语真题写作范文篇1
The cartoon has vividly depicted two disabled men walking together, holding each other tightly for mutual support. Even though they have abandoned their crutches, which are often believed to be the only "friend" a crippled man can rely on, they count on the only healthy leg of each other and form a compensating pair in their journey to a brilliant future. As the words described," With the only leg of each other, we will make it better together".
By drawing this picture, the artist has successfully drawn out attention to the importance of a much needed element along our road to success: co-operation. As globalization has her way in this world, an increasing number of people begin to realize that without co-operation, transactions would not be smooth, great goals would not be fulfilled, and many human dreams would end up in smoke.
For example, in the business world, the successful launching of a product depends on the work of each relevant department. Manufacturing factories produce qualified products, marketing department rack their brains for new sales strategies and after-sale service will endear& to deal with possible customer complaint. No department can do all this alone. Just as the saying goes, "United we stand, divided we fall". In order to make miracles happen in our own life, I believe, we all need a "leg", a "hand" or even a "head" from the ones around us.

In this cartoon, it humorously presents a scene of a football game in which the
two rivals are facing each other. The striker on one team is preparing to make a
decisive shoot while the goal-keeper on the opposite team is posing for defence.
However, the pressure is so overwhelming that both of them are losing their
confidence. The striker magnifies the goal-keeper in his mind so that chances of
shooting in are slim. Likewise, the goal-keeper minimizes his own image as if he
couldn't defend the goal successfully.
Obviously, the purpose of the picture is to let us know how improtant
self-confidence is in our daily life. On account of the quickening pace of life,
competition becomes more and more fierce in all walks of life, imposing tremendous
pressure on all individuals. The past few years have witnessed dramatic increase
in the difficulty of examinations and employment. We must maintain powerful
self-confidence and optimism in the face of challenges so as to survive and succeed. Suppose we are inclined to overestimate our rivals or problems and neglect our ability, we will become hesitating and doubtful of ourselves, unable to fulfill even a simple task. Therefore, it is necessary to embrace the strong faith that we are indomitable and invincible.
A case in point is the world famous star hurdler, Liu Xiang. He invariably imagines positively that he can win in every hurdle race, never shrinking in front of other experienced players. That's why he works wonders again and again. As for me, I am participating in the college admission examination for graduates with thousands of competitors. Having prepared sufficiently for one year, I have powerful self-assurance that I can cruise to my dream university. As the saying goes, our only enemy is ourselves. Only by building strong self-confidence can we demonstrate grace under pressure and turn our dreams into reality.

As is illustrated in the picture, people are all sitting in front of a computer and their working place is just like a spidernet. Obviously, the spidernet symbolizes the Internet and it is hard to say if the net is making people closer to each other or making them farther away from each other.
This picture is vivid and humourous but asks us a serious question: is the Internet a blessing or a disaster? On the one hand, the Internet has brought us a lot of conveniences, such as making our work easier and making people more powerful. We can keep track of the world almost at any time and in any place. On the other hand, the development of computer science has given rise to some new problems. For example, people spend more and more time on computers and tile traditional gatherings between family members and friends become dreams that are hard to come true for work on the computer seems to be endless and an occasional greeting through the Internet is prevailing among computer users. Therefore, the wide use of the Internet is to some extent another challenge that tests our wisdom and intelligence.
In my opinion, any new invention is a double-blade sword and the Internet is no exception. If we know the limits and disadvantages it may have from the very beginning and use the invention in the right way, we will not be led by the nose and head for destruction.
