　　A: Is there anything worth watching on another channel?

　　B: I think there’s a western on.

　　A: Do you mind if we watch it? I’d really like to see it.

　　B: Well, I really wanted to see the baseball game.

　　A: Do you happen to know what’s on after the news?

　　B: I’ve got a feeling there’s a documentary about animals.

　　A: Does anybody mind if we watch it?

　　B: Don’t you want to see part two of the movie?

　　Sharon: Maggie, give me the remote controller. Friends is on.

　　Maggie: I'm watching The X-Files. This is the season finale. I don't want to miss it.

　　Sharon: You can record it on video-tape and watch it tomorrow. The best part of a videotape is that you can fast forward through commercials.

　　Maggie: OK, here you go!

　　Sharon: You know what! Brad Pitt will pop up on tonight's episode. His guest gig must be fun.

　　Maggie: Don't you think sitcoms have too many laugh tracks? There's laughing every five minutes.

　　Sharon: Friends is not a so-so comedy. It is a hit and a prime time show.

　　Maggie: I'm not anti Friends. I'm just getting tired of sitcoms. There are so many TV stations

　　showing them, channel after channel.

　　Sharon:That's why reality shows are a welcome trend nowadays.

　　Maggie :Yes, you bet!

　　Sharon: Which of the reality shows do you like?

　　Maggie: Survivor is my favorite.

　　沙伦：玛吉，把遥控器给我!《老友记》开始演了。

　　玛吉：我正在看《X档案》。这是这一季的最后一集，我不想错过。

　　沙伦：你可以把它录下来，等到明天再看啊。看录影带的好处就是看到广告的时候你可以快进。

　　玛吉：你不觉得情景喜剧放太多噱头笑声吗?每隔五分钟就听到一阵傻笑声。

　　沙伦：《老友记》可不是马马虎虎的喜剧，它可是广受好评、又排在黄金时段的节目。

　　玛吉：我不是说《老友记》不好，我只是很厌烦情景喜剧。好多电视台都在播情景喜剧，一个频道接着一个频道。

　　沙伦：所以，真人秀电视节目最近才会变得那么受欢迎。

　　玛吉：是的，我同意你的说法。

　　沙伦：那你最喜欢哪一个真人秀电视节目呢?

　　玛吉：《我要活下去》是我最喜欢的。
