英语语法学习：this/that, these/those

　　代词用于表示时间

　　不少代词可以用作形容词，修饰表示时间的名词，构成惯用搭配。

　　this/that, these/those

　　(1)this, that, these, those修饰表示时间的名词，分别表示现在或者过去某段时间。

　　比如：

　　this morning今天早晨

　　that morning那天早晨

　　these days这些天，现在

　　in those days那些日子

　　this winter今年冬天

　　that winter那年冬天

　　these years这几年

　　in those years那几年

　　I got a telephone call from him this morning.

　　今天早晨我接到他的一个电话。

　　We had a good time in the park that morning.

　　那天早晨我们在公园玩得很高兴。

　　It has been dry this year.

　　今年天气一直干旱。

　　The weather was bad that year.

　　那年天气很坏。

　　They are making progress these days.

　　这几天他们在进步。

　　Few people had fridges in their houses in those days.

　　那些日子里很少人家中有冰箱。

　　(2)“今天”应该表达为today(adv.)，不说this day。

　　“那天”可以表达为that day。

　　“今天晚上”应该表达为this evening或者tonight(adv.)，不说成this night或者today night。

　　“那天晚上”可以表达为that evening或者that night。

　　(3)to this day至今 是惯用语。

　　比如：

　　He is still remembered as a hero to this day.

　　至今他还作为英雄被人们记得。

　　(4)this time

　　this time这一次

　　I will give you more homework this time.

　　这一次我将多给你们一点作业。

　　this time… 这个时候

　　This time yesterday，they were watching the final of the World Cup.

　　昨天这个时候，他们正在观看世界杯足球赛决赛。
