我是英国约克大学管理系(Accounting, Business Finance and Management course) 专业在读大学生，次课程开始于2008年10月，结束于2011年7月， 2011年7月14日学校将为我们举行隆重的毕业典礼，我非常想让我的父母和妹妹来英国和我一起度过这一重要的时刻，并能借此机会参观约克大学和附近的几个城市。我保证我们全家都能遵守中英两国的法律和法规，旅行结束后，按时返回中国!
我的户口所在地是陕西黄陵县，母亲一直是家庭妇女，妹妹在西安上学。父母为了支持我读书，那里都没去过。我们已在西安购买了新房和卧车，我希望全家能在英国有10天的旅行假期，并通过旅行社预订了机票和酒店。我希望使馆能发给短期旅游签证，满足我的这个愿望!我也希望在我们回国后，你们也能来西安这个文化古都做客，谢谢!

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is XXX from XXX University writing you a letter with great pleasure. I am a postdoctoral research associate at XXX University. Here my wife and I would like to invite my mother to visit us in May, 2008. I am busy doing my researches now and have no time to go back to China. My joint advisors (Prof XXX and Prof. XXX at XXX University) hope I can finish my project within the next one and half years. Therefore it would be wonderful if we can spend some time with my mother and show her around at XXX University.
My mother is illiterate and lives in a small village in XXX Province. She even can’t speak Mandarin very well. But she is the greatest mother in the world. I really miss my mother very much. I came here in July, 2006 and I have not yet seen her for about 2 years. I believe it would be a wonderful reunion if she could get B-2 visa and join us for the best season in XXX. We may visit Chicago and Detroit, the two major cities close by as well.
My father and my younger brother’s family are still in China. My parents are looking after their 3-year-old grandson (my brother’s son). My mother enjoys her life very much with her husband and grandson in my hometown. She comes here just because she misses me and my wife. She will go back to China after she stays here for 6 months.

Dear USA Visa Application Officer,
I would like you to please consider an invitation for my wife’s mother, my mother’s in-law, XXX, and my wife’s sister XXX, to visit the United States of America, in 2010. Her daughter and my wife recently moved to Ohio. We hope that our mother from China，can come see that, her daughter is happy and at peace.
Our mother has many ties back to China; my mother in-law has two daughters; two sons; and many grandchildren. A brother, many nieces’ and nephews, she enjoys a liberal pension. And has a large beautiful home in XXX.
It is our hope that my sisters’ in-law, her eldest daughter, can travel with her, because she is of advanced age.
Her daughter XXX, also has many ties back to China, my sister in-law has a husband who’s position is what we call a department head for the city of XXX. She has a young daughter, brothers, sister，and many niece’s and nephews; she enjoys a liberal pension. She also has an extremely large beautiful home in XXX.
During their stay in the United States, they will stay with us, at our home in XXX, Ohio. We will pay all fees for her plane tickets to USA, and returning to China.
We plan to have a series of tours to New York City, Washington, D.C. and Virginia Beach, and Niagara Falls, and natural parks’.
We will be presenting this letter to you, together with other evidence to establish their close ties to China, and to assure you, that they will return prior, to the expiration of their vise and visit in the United States.
