Thank you for forgiving my countless mistakes. Thank you for forgiving that I didn’t tell you I appreciate you even once. Thank you for forgiving that I misunderstood you deeply at one time. I’m not able to describe that complex feeling the minute I saw you disappeared into the crowd, leaving me alone on the platform. Suddenly, all memories came into my mind in a flash. How could I forget that when I got home at nearly midnight, you were still awake only to ask me whether I need to eat something. How could I forget that when I got a high score or prizes, you would smile the whole evening. And how can I forget that when I gave you a bunch of flowers on Fathers’ Day, you should just smile and falter out thank you, failing to remember to take the flowers. How guilty I felt about that! No one exactly knew how much you had done for me in my 20 years. But an inappreciable gift would make you overjoyed. I did think myself very ungrateful! From that day on, I’ve began to be clear about the importance of you in my life, my father, a diligent, considerate, frugal and brave man.
Today, what I want to express is not the word “thanks” but the word “love”. I want to tell you that your single son has been mature enough to feel love from others and to give love to others. And among the “others”, you are the most important one.

How are you? I am Sal. My grandparents are very happy during the trip. I told them stories about my friend, Phoebe during the trip.

They thought almost everything about Phoebe and me. I don’t mean that I do not miss you, but if I called you, Gram would call me a goose. Well, if you want me to give a score to their behavior, I will give 89 points and a bonus 5 point for taking good care of me. So the final score will be 94 out of 100.
