美式英语中的流行怪字
一般来说，美国人较随便，喜欢新花样;英国人较保守，遵从旧习惯。对于英国人无论在文章或对话中都要用文绉绉的Queen‘s English，随便的美国人觉得很麻烦。因此，他们在实践当中加以简化并创造出一些新字句来。不过，口语化的英语很多是“未入流”的，所以在书写中尚未能应用。
最近发觉一些美国怪语中通行的“怪字”逐渐多人使用，是以录下其中一些解说一下，以供参考。
nite= night，发音也是一样。
thru= through，发音相同。
tho'= though，发音相同。(注意字母o之右上角有一撇)
bro't= brought，发音相同。
'cause1= because，只发后一节音。(注意一撇是在字母c的左上方)。这个字有时更离谱到写成'cos便算数。
wanna= want to，
gonna= going2 to，
gotta= got3 to，美国人作客，因事要提早离开时，很喜欢说 I gotta see a man about a dog.(对不起，我有事，先告辞了。)
