Whenever I have a party, Hsiao-mei is always the first person I invite. She is such fun. I know that she will be able to make my other guests laugh. She does not get upset if somebody tries to tease or make fun of her, either. Hsiao-mei can also be very serious and can discuss almost anything you can think of. If it gets late before the party ends, I can always depend on Hsiao-mei to clean up the house. She never says no, even if she is very tired and would rather go straight home to bed.

每次上英语课，我们英语王老师都会找两个人来演讲，今天轮到彭睿了。要说他的英语水平，可不太怎么的，不过今天竟然还算流利？等他回来，我一检查，发现其中的奥妙在演讲稿。他的演讲稿与众不同，是汉化的演讲稿。
彭睿的演讲稿是这样的：哈楼，阿母彭睿，阿母12爷死偶的，阿母饿伯矮，阿母4皮泡因骂反妹雷。卖爱妈子A死饿踢车，谁子外润bīu他fāo，骂发仔A死饿……
这就是彭睿的演讲稿，真是好笑，就连彭睿看了他写的汉化英语演讲稿，也忍不住哈哈大笑。
不只是彭睿，我们班还有人使用这“绝招”，比如牙刷toothbrosh，大家都在这个单词上面标上“兔子不拉屎”，真是笑死俺哩！就连早上好Goodmorning，大家也会给汉化成“狗逮猫耳朵拧”。还有好多呢，也不知是谁想出来的这记英语单词的“妙招”。
其实我也参与了这汉化英语，你别说，这英语汉化还真管用哩！再难的单词也能记得牢牢的，就是有一点不好：音不太准！所以我觉得要想练一口标准英语，还是不要使用这汉化英语的好！

寒假里，妈妈带我去学剑桥少儿英语，那里有许多小朋友，还有我的同学呢！
星期一的下午，妈妈和我来到教室里，看见有许多小朋友在玩耍，还有我的同学。上课了，英语老师一进教室，原来是我们班的英语老师，她站在讲台上，用英语给我们问好，给我们打招呼。老师叫我们翻到第一页，我看到上面都写的是问好、打招呼，老师教我们读，我们读错了，就给我们纠正，读了一遍又一遍后，我们渐渐读熟了，这种方法真管用。翻到第二页，我们又读熟了“上午”、“下午”、“晚上”的英语单词。这样连续上了三节课，我们学到了许多英语，还会写大写字母A和小写字母a，收获可真多呀！

学英语对我来说，一直都是一个难以跨越的坎。
因为一开始学英语的条件和底子都不好，在其他英语好的同学的强大对比之下，越来越没有信心。可是每一次也曾经雄姿英发，三分钟热度，感觉自己只要努力一定可以的。
可是后来才发现，这不只是三分钟热度的原因，而且还不得方法。
学习方法不对，就等于方向错了一大半，效果就是事倍功半。
可惜，现在我才懂得这样的道理。也许，现在的我重头再来，或者是继续下去根本就不晚，因为我们现在还在学英语的阶段，还要考四六级，还有考研英语。

昨天在食堂吃饭的时候，一个人无聊，就用手机播放百度云盘里面的《老友记》，一开始不感兴趣，只是因为人物都不熟悉，后来越看越有意思。

自从入学以来，我的英语成绩就不太好：学单词用“死记硬背法”，读出来的句子不通顺。三年级的暑假中，妈妈报名让我学《剑桥少儿英语》。
在第一课中，老师就告诉我们记单词应该用拼读法。一次，学校老师抽我起来读句子，我学以致用，竟读个八九不离十！我进步很快，在比学校卷子还难的剑桥少儿英语一级上册的考试中，我得了９５分。令人高兴的是，我还在学校快乐英语展示活动中，当了一次小主持人呢！现在，我不用妈妈帮助，自己就能把课文背得个滚瓜烂熟了。而且，我开始给妈妈他们当老师，把我从《剑桥少儿英语》中学到的知识讲给她们听。有时，他们还真得请示我这个小老师呢。一天，妈妈遇到了五个不会读的单词来问我，我用拼读法读了出来，结果有三个是正确的。
现在，我喜欢上了英语，不过，这一切都归功于《剑桥少儿英语》呀！要不是它，我到现在都还在用老方法呢。
