Describe a job you would like to do or have
A dream job I would like to have would be a professional shopper. This job would involve me working for various companies as a free-lance shopper. I would go to various places and then pretend that I was shopping for certain things. I would record what the staff said to me in a secret tape-recorder. I would then write up a report about the service I received and determine what things I was impressed with and didn't like so much. Then I would be paid very handsomely for the report.
I would like to be able to create my own hours for this job, and I would like to have all my transportation paid for, and I would like all the normal benefits to apply like health insurance and pensions.
I think I would like this kind of job because, well ... I love shopping. I mean, I can shop all day without getting tired, so I imagine that this job would be a piece of cake. Plus, I think this kind of job is useful because it lets the companies know either their service towards customers is good or not, and if they know what areas they need to improve then they can go out and make these improvements. So I think the service I am doing for society is a good one and can lead to better service quality and perhaps increased salaries. Also, I have a feeling I could make big money with this job.

I am attracted to this job not because the salary, power or the facilities it would offer rather for the opportunities it would offer to serve the nation and in the most important part of the nation.

Describe a person who has an important job.
You should say:
who this person is
when and where you meet this person
what job does he or she have
and explain why his or her job is important.
I want to talk about my uncle, who is an English teacher in a middle school. I first met him when I was a primary school student. Now, I go to visit him once a week and spend almost the whole day with him. His home used to be within 10-minute walk from my home, which is why I often go there to talk with him. Although he has moved to another city, I still visit him whenever I have time. My uncle is 42 years old now and has been doing this job for nearly 20 years. He is nice to his students and his family members. Because he likes to read a lot of books, and sometimes works till the mid-night, he is shortsighted and has to wear a pair of glasses.
This job is mainly related to working with students. As for my uncle, being a teacher is a chance to share what he knows with his students. To tell you the truth, under the influence of my uncle, I would also like to be a teacher in the future.
The reason why I think my uncle's job is important is that teacher helps people to find out their potentials, so that they know exactly what they can do to help others in society. Also, people learn a lot about the world culture from English teacher. They then in turn show Chinese culture to the world by using English they have learned. This provides a good opportunity for the deeper understanding between China and other countries. Lastly, teacher sometimes solve a lot problems between students and their family members. The better family relationship a person has, the less likely they are to cause problems in society, which helps to build up a more harmonious environment for everybody to live in.

Paid bloggers fit just about every definition of a microtrend: Their ranks have grown dramatically over the years, blogging is an important social and cultural movement that people care passionately about, and the number of people doing it for at least some income is approaching 1% of American adults.
The best studies we can find say we are a nation of over 20 million bloggers, with 1.7 million profiting from the work, and 452,000 of those using blogging as their primary source of income. That's almost 2 million Americans getting paid by the word, the post, or the click -- whether on their site or someone else's. And that's nearly half a million of whom it can be said, as Bob Dylan did of Hurricane Carter: 'It's my work he'd say, I do it for pay.'
This could make us the most noisily opinionated nation on earth. The Information Age has spawned many new professions, but blogging could well be the one with the most profound effect on our culture. If journalists were the Fourth Estate, bloggers are becoming the Fifth Estate.
What started as a discussion forum for progressive politics and new technologies has now been applied to motherhood, health care, the arts, fashion, dentistry -- and just about every other imaginable area of life. What started as a hobby and an outlet for volunteers is becoming big business for newly emerging sites, for companies that now depend upon their reviews and for the people who work in this new industry.
Demographically, bloggers are extremely well educated: three out of every four are college graduates. Most are white males reporting above-average incomes. One out of three young people reports blogging, but bloggers who do it for a living successfully are 2% of bloggers overall. It takes about 100,000 unique visitors a month to generate an income of ,000 a year. Bloggers can get to 0 for a good post, and some even serve as 'spokesbloggers' -- paid by advertisers to blog about products. As a job with zero commuting, blogging could be one of the most environmentally friendly jobs around -- but it can also be quite profitable. For sites at the top, the returns can be substantial. At some point the value of the Huffington Post will no doubt pass the value of the Washington Post.
