1.适用人群:瘦身达人
2.主题:减肥经历
3.故事线:在6个月的时间里成功瘦身,不仅苗条了而且也更加健康
Well, it's probably difficult to believe but last year I knocked off X kilos in about 6 months, and this is what I am still enormously proud of. I have to confess...I used to be a very lazy girl who loved fast food and hated sports. And at that time I was so slim that I didn't even think that one day being overweight would become my number 1 problem. So when I realised that I'd put on X kilos, I decided to lose weight and get fit, no matter what.
And so it began. I started exercising daily. I went jogging in the mornings and I walked in the evenings. Also, I ditched junk food and stopped buying snacks, which I couldn't live without. I started sticking to a diet. You know, no sweets, no rice, no cheeseburgers, and French fries. Not only salads, vegetables, fruits and plenty of fluids. I ate only healthy food and drank a lot of water daily. I cooked foods in healthier ways such as boiling, baking and stewing. I read somewhere that it is better to have a few light meals instead of on main meal. So I followed this advice too. I continued this practice for six straight months. As a result, I lost more than X kilograms.
Now I'm not only as slim as I used to be, but I'm also fit enough. And I'm genuinely proud of my achievement. I should say it was hard to change my habits, my diet and my lifestyle, and at some point I was about to give up because all those activities were really time consuming. But I didn't, thank God, though I was facing a lot of difficulties. Another thing that makes me feel inordinately proud of myself is that I achieved great results without anybody's help. I just read blogs and forums, used a lot of online resources, but it was I that decided what to do with myself. This is something I never thought I could do. You can't even imagine how much effort I put in achieving this result. I would even say I was fighting the battle of my life. And I won.

1.主题:最佳网站
2.故事线:创办的网站DailyStep在麦克米伦字典的“爱英语”奖中被提名为“最佳网站”,说一句戳心窝子的话,别人这么优秀还这么努力,你有什么资格偷懒呢?
One achievement that makes me really proud is that my website, DailyStep English, has been nominated for “Best Website 2014” in the Macmillan Dictionary “Love English” Awards. This nomination is the result of a huge amount of really hard work in taking my original idea of learning English in simple steps, just one step per day, and turning it into an internationally successful e-learning tool, which is used around the world by many thousands of people.
Running DailyStep has been particularly difficult over the last year as we upgraded to a completely new website, built with different computer coding. This was tough for me as I had to learn a lot about how websites work in order to communicate with a team of developers. I had to learn to talk their language – the language of computers!
Another thing I take great pride in is that we are now recording all the dialogues in our audio lessons in American English as well as British English. The American actors we employ are taking great care to adapt the British language into natural American English. This means that my students can choose which accent to speak, and understand both accents, including the difference in vocabulary, especially idioms and phrasal verbs. The reason I am particularly proud of this aspect is that it makes the content of our lessons totally unique, and we and our American actors are constantly surprised at how different British and American English really are! It’s a matter of great pride for me that I have managed to make all this work, and it gives me a huge sense of achievement. However, the thing that makes me the most proud of all is the thought that so many people around the world have improved their English using my method.
This sample answer took around 2 minutes, which is the maximum time you need to speak without stopping in Part 2 of the IELTS speaking exam.

While going to my office in Victoria City in Hong Kong, I saw an accident and immediately responded. Being hit by a car, a man was lying on the street and was bleeding while the car escaped the scene. I took him to the nearest hospital and informed his relatives to be there immediately. And interestingly, I did all the things alone. Nobody came to my help at that moment. This is a nice cue card topic and I will share the experience by answering the remaining questions.
I am a sales executive for a multinational corporation based in New York. I was on the way to my office by riding my bicycle. And the accident took place in the downtown of the city and it was a rush in the morning. Everyone was on their way to the office. And it was all on a sudden that the accident took place. The car driver might have been not aware of the pedestrian or the victim might have been crossing the road being unaware.
Honestly, I felt proud for my response there. There were lots of people on the street but everyone was in a hurry. I do believe they could not help the injured person despite their intentions. But as I responded to the event, I feel proud of myself. I know when and how to handle the emergencies and it was a similar incident. I could have been the victim as well. My immediate reflex made me run for helping the injured man and I am humbly proud of it.
I felt sad for the man. He might have started his work or to attend an important appointment or for any other purposes. But he could not reach his destination. And it was a troublesome matter for him. However, being able to help him was a great feeling for me. To put it in a simple word, it was fulfilling.

Well, I would like to start by saying that I am a goal-oriented person and I love to chase my targets and accomplish my goal. Here I would like to mention a time when not only I but my family also felt proud on me.
I was when I was in my 11th class and the school organized a farewell party for our seniors: the 12th grade students. I was given the responsibility of delivering a speech and my friend, who is a great orator, was assigned the duty of hosting the function. We started preparing for our presentation and before the event we were all good to go. However, a day before the event, my friend met with an accident and she broke her leg. This was a bolt from the blue for everyone and everybody thought that all the preparation would go in vain in the absence of the host. At eleventh hour, my teacher took a bold decision and he approached me with a firm trust that I could shoulder my friend’s responsibility. I became very nervous because I had never hosted any event before but I respected the faith of my teacher and with the help of my friend, I prepared myself a night before. Next day, I was feeling butterflies in my stomach when the event started but honestly speaking, the whole event went smooth when I stood on the podium. After the event, I took a sigh of relief and when my teachers and friends complimented me, I felt on top of the world. I received an award as well from the chief guest of the function. I, then, went back to hospital to meet my friend and I gave her the award which I think she truly deserved.
All in all, it was such a great experience of my life and it made me realise tht life is all about going boldly after your dreams without paying attention to naysayer. Thanks.
