　　I think lots of students like the pop singer named Jay. I also like him very much. When he released his first album, I started to buy his album. And I never miss any album of his.

　　Do you know as a boy, Jay was called Dull Stupid. But his mother Yeh Huimei, noticed that the quiet, shy boy seemed to dance practically when he heard the Western Pop music she used to play. His mother sent him to a piano school when he was four. When he has grown up, he had developed an ability for instant playing beyond his years. I learned to play the piano from 7 years old to 13 years old. I often feel bored when I practise playing the piano. But Jay was always crazy about playing the piano. I think he really likes music. So I admire him very much, and I call him “hero”.

　　I admire Jay. The real reason is when the others all denied him, he never gave up. He tried his best to change his life. I think it is good for everybody. I hope that everyone can learn from him---try their best to do everything. Then I think we will make the grade.

　　Lu Xun is my favourite writer. He is one of the most famous writers in China. He wrote a lot of literary works. He was thin and not tall. He always wore a long old coat in that time. At first, he wanted to be a doctor and save people’s lives. So he learned medicine, but later he found the Chinese were in sensitive when they faced the oppression of their enemies. So he began to write articles to wake the people up.

　　Good morning, dear teacher and my friends. Today my topic is "My Father Is My Hero*.

　　Every child has a good and great father, aiul so do I. My dad played a very important role in my life, exactly speaking, in my past 15 years. And I have every reason to 'believe he is always my hero.

　　My father always stands in the center of my life, from past till now and possibly in the future. My family was rather poor when I was in childhood. We didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby, small room rented from my fathers factory. I he room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. I didn't have my own bed and had to share the bed with my parents. This was terrible both for my parents and me.

　　But father made this all different! He never complained, never lost his temper or showed any frustration. Instead, he always told me to smile, whenever and wherever. You could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. We'd go fishing, go for walks, and fly a kite on the weekend. Every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character. At that time, though we were poor, happiness and sunshine filled our home. Now, with his hard work and optimism, he has his own "business. We also have got our own house. Life becomes happier and happier. I learnt a lot from my dad. I learnt we should never take things too seriously and always try to find the positive side of life.

　　Years passed, my father is over 15 now. It is time for me to looic after him sand I am sure I can and wc will live an even better life. Here I really want to say"I love you. dad. bccausc you are the hero all throughout my life".
