发展阶段
TCL的品牌之路可以分为三个阶段。
第一阶段:规模积累阶段(1981-1991)
这一阶段,奠定了TCL基因:灵活、不教条、务实,不空谈,大胆实践,探索、创新;开放透明;不等、不靠、不伸手,靠自己、靠严格、靠制度……这是TCL从诞生之日起就深入骨髓的DNA,任何情况下都不会改变。
1981年,在惠阳地区机械局电子科的基础上,组建惠阳地区电子工业公司,开始TCL集团的早期创业。
1985年,兴办中港合资的“TCL通讯设备有限公司。
1986年,TCL商标在国家工商行政管理局商标注册。
1986年,开发出我国最早的免提式按键电话,通过生产鉴定,创立“TCL”品牌。
1989年,TCL电话机产销量跃居全国同行业第一名并一直名列前茅。
1991年,在上海成立第一个销售分公司,随后又在哈尔滨、西安、武汉、成都等地建立销售分支机构,成为今天TCL全国性销售网络的雏形。
第二阶段:企业高速成长阶段(1992-1998)
这一阶段,TCL基因积聚力量,创造了高速发展的奇迹,用自己勇于实践的历程诠释了什么是改革,这就是小平同志讲的摸着石头过河。没有可以借鉴的,靠自己按照市场规律摸索向前,高速发展伴随着曲折的改革,完成了中国制造具有代表意义的改制,率先成为现代企业制度规范下的具有竞争力的中国制造企业。TCL在制造领域的这个历史成就,某种意义上说,可以说和推动农村家庭联产承包制的小岗村可有一比。
1992年,研制生产TCL王牌大屏幕彩电,投放市场一炮走红。同时,着手导入CI系统,成为国内较早实施CIS的国有企业之一。
1993年,TCL将品牌拓展到电工领域,成立TCL国际电工(惠州)有限公司。
1993年,TCL电子(香港)有限公司成立。
1993年,TCL通讯设备股份有限公司股票在深交所上市,是国内通讯终端产品企业中第一家上市公司。
1994年,率先推出国内第一部无绳电话。
1995年,TCL集团公司改组,下设“通讯”、“电子”、“云天”三大集团。
1995年,TCL电话获国务院发展研究中心市场经济研究所授予"中国电话大王"称号。
1996年,TCL集团兼并香港陆氏公司彩电项目,开创国企兼并港资企业并使用国有品牌之先河。
1997年,TCL集团公司调整企业结构,撤消三个专业集团,重组为TCL集团有限公司。
1998年,中国进出口银行与TCL签定“20亿元人民币出口卖方信贷一揽子授信协议”,为TCL开拓海外市场提供了有力的资金支持。
第三阶段:创全球领先企业(1999-至今)
这一阶段,TCL在发展的基础上寻求自我突破,抓住机遇开始走出去,大胆突破。通过国际并购、遭遇挫折、绝地重生,为TCL布局全球架构和竞争力开了先河,为中国企业走出去积累了宝贵经验。这是TCL基因的又一次爆发,探索者的勇气伴随着孤独和痛苦,搏击在改革开放最前沿——国际化征途的风口浪尖。TCL不屈不饶,成为中国制造先进性的典型代表之一。
1999年,TCL国际控股有限公司股票在香港成功上市。
1999年,TCL斥资控股翰林汇软件产业公司,大举进军信息产业。
2001年,TCL移动通讯全年销售手机130万台,销售收入突破30亿元,成长为集团又一重要经济增长点。
2002年,TCL手机在中国市场排名第三,位列国产手机首位。
2003年,TCL集团以319亿元人民币销售收入排名中国电子信息百强企业第四位。
2004年,TCL集团在深圳证券交易所正式挂牌上市。
2005年,TCL彩电销量雄居全球首位。
2007年,TCL彩电核心技术获美国国家电视学院艾美奖,这是中国公司历史上首次获得该奖项。
2008年,TCL集团公布2007年盈利性年报并摘掉“*ST”帽子。5月19日,“TCL集团”(000100)重返深证100指数。
2008年,中国彩电业年度行业总评揭晓,TCL一举夺得“中国数字电视年度国际成功大奖”、“年度液晶电视大奖”、“年度绿色健康产品大奖”以及“消费者最喜爱的彩电品牌”四项大奖。
2009年,TCL王牌电器(惠州)有限公司、惠州TCL移动通信有限公司等7家公司被认定为首批“国家级高新技术企业”。
2010年,由深圳市政府和TCL集团共同投资245亿元的华星光电8.5代液晶面板项目隆重开工。
2011年,“TCL助力中国男篮主赞助商签约仪式暨TCL 30周年珍藏版新品发布”活动在北京隆重举行。
2012年,TCL集团发布公告,2012年度LCD电视销量1578.10万台,跻身全球彩电三强,这也是中国彩电企业首次冲入全球液晶彩电第一阵营。
2012年,第45届国际消费电子展(CES)上,TCL荣获技术创新单项大奖“年度智能云计算电视”奖,同时蝉联全球消费电子TOP50和全球电视品牌第六名。
2012年,由华星光电研制成功的110吋四倍全高清3D液晶显示屏“中华之星”在京正式发布。
2013年,好莱坞星光大道地标性建筑“好莱坞中国大剧院”,正式更名为“好莱坞TCL中国大剧院”。这是该剧院建成85年来首次与企业进行冠名合作。
2013年,TCL家电(合肥)产业园项目在合肥市肥西县桃花工业园举行奠基仪式,TCL计划总投资70亿元,年产800万台冰箱、洗衣机的中高端冰洗生产线项目正式启动。
2014年, TCL集团发布互联网转型时代下全新的转型战略——“智能+互联网”与“产品+服务”的“双+”战略,以互联网思维全面构建TCL集团的战略转型和新商业模式,重新定义TCL集团以用户为中心的新价值观和愿景。
2014年,TCL宣布投资5亿元启动O2O平台项目建设。同时宣布成立TCL文化传媒公司,发力内容建设。
2014年,第五届“亚洲最佳雇主品牌奖”在新加坡揭晓,TCL连续三年获此奖项。
2015年,TCL提出国际化再出发的“双轮驱动发展”战略,并发布了TCL企业的新定位:全球化的智能产品制造及互联网应用服务企业集团。
2015年,2015(第21届)中国品牌价值100强公布,TCL品牌价值710.28亿元,持续保持增长,在中国电视机制造业第10次蝉联榜首。
2015年9月17日,胡润研究院发布《2015胡润品牌榜》,TCL集团品牌价值15亿,涨幅比例达448%,较去年上升4倍多,位列十大增值品牌榜榜眼;在家用电器品牌价值排名中,TCL由去年的第七位跃升到第四位。
2015年,TCL集团董事长兼CEO李东生获评2015互联网时代最具影响力企业家20强。
2015年12月18日晚,在“第五届娱乐营销论坛暨5S金奖”颁奖典礼上,TCL独揽三项2015年度娱乐IP营销大奖,成为当晚最大赢家。TCL所获的三项大奖包括:话剧《开心晚宴》《夏洛特烦恼》、电影《我是证人》、电视剧《大猫追爱记》,分别涵盖话剧、电影、电视剧三大领域,这背后体现了TCL的传播对市场的精准把握和高超的娱乐营销水准。
2015年12月11日晚间,TCL多媒体和乐视网同时发布公告,乐视网通过乐视致新在香港设立的全资子公司投资约18.71亿人民币,以6.5港元/股的价格认购TCL多媒体新股3.49亿股。本次投资完成后,乐视网将通过乐视致新持有TCL多媒体约20%的股份,并向TCL多媒体提名2名董事。
2016年2月23日,TCL携手紫光集团在北京举行产业并购基金启动发布会。发布会上,双方共同宣布,将充分利用双方在各自行业强大的影响力、产业上下游丰富的投资经验及横跨境内外的资本市场平台优势,协同打造百亿规模的产业投资平台,兼具产业协同效应和资本效应,促进中国半导体和消费电子产业的转型与升级。
2016(第22届)中国品牌价值100强研究报告在美国波士顿揭晓。TCL集团品牌价值765.69亿元,连续11年蝉联中国电视机制造业第一名。
2016年TCL集团通过全资子公司与美国无线移动宽屏顶尖品牌Novatel Wireless (NASDAQ: MIFI)签署协议,收购Novatel Wireless旗下MIFI(智能移动热点设备及移动宽带)业务,对价为5000万美金。
2016年9月28日,TCL2016秋季新品发布会在广州亚运城体育馆隆重举行。发布会上,TCL宣布推出高端副品牌“XESS创逸”及旗下X1、X2电视产品及S1移动大屏产品,并宣布郎平成为XESS创逸电视机产品的形象代言人。XESS创逸以领先科技、高端配备、艺术设计、品味个性为四大支柱, 汇聚 TCL 35年科技的精髓,以持之以恒和超越突破的工匠精神为追求生活品质与品味的高端人群提供最前沿精致的科技产品与服务,是智能生活的创领者。
2016年12月16日,BlackBerry公司与TCL通讯宣布达成长期的授权许可协议,正式完成授权。至此,黑莓将停止对BlackBerry手机的设计、生产制造,而TCL将经营黑莓手机。
海外市场
TCL集团持续推进全球化战略,2014年实现海外销售收入454.62亿元,同比增长28.53%,占集团总体销售收入的比例提升至46.60%,是本年度集团业务增长的主要动力。其中,TCL多媒体电子总销售收入共计265.66亿元,其中海外市场小幅增长,实现销售收入90.95亿元,同比增长5.91%。
TCL通讯海外业务的盈利贡献不俗,海外市场特别是新兴国家市场潜力巨大,公司把握住这轮全球经济结构调整的机会,加快发展海外业务,在全球建立竞争优势。权威调研机构Gartner公布的2014年第四季度全球手机销量数据显示,TCL通讯以2380万台的出货量跻身全球第四,仅次于三星、苹果和诺基亚,在中国手机企业中排名第一,领先华为、小米、联想等国产手机厂商。2014年, TCL通讯在墨西哥、哥伦比亚、厄瓜多尔、委内瑞拉、加勒比海、安哥拉等国家和地区销售排名第一,拉美市场整体晋升为第二名,在北美市场实现排名第五。
