　　anywhere的用法：

　　anywhere的基本意思是“在〔往〕什么地方,在〔往〕任何地方”,多用于否定句、疑问句或条件句中,代替somewhere,但如果句中所述的去处不那么明显的话,偶尔也可以用于肯定句,意思是“什么地方都…”“随便什么地方”。

　　anywhere不用于比较等级。

　　anywhere可用在最高级句中加强语气。

　　anywhere还可用作名词,不可数，意为“任何地方;任何方向”。例如:There wasn't anywhere where we could sit alone and think.没有任何地方可让我们独自坐下来思考问题。anywhere基本上是副词,只是在特别情况下才用作名词,故只要用作副词就不要用作名词而在其前使用介词如to, at等。①当anywhere用作名词时,其形容词修饰语只能位于其后。例如:It's a weak document, not anywhere good enough.这是一个没有多大约束力的文件,根本没有用。②当anywhere用作名词充当主语时,其后不可接否定谓语。例如:

　　任何地方都不可能用作运动场。[误] Anywhere cannot be used as a play-ground.[正] Nowhere can be used as a playground.

　　anywhere可引起从句。当引起从句时, anywhere在主句和从句中常可分别用作名词和副词,例如:

　　Is there anywhere you can go?你有什么地方去吗?(anywhere在主句中用作名词,而在从句中用作副词。)I'll take you anywhere you like.你喜欢去哪儿我就带你去哪儿。(anywhere在主句中用作副词,而在从句中则用作名词。)

　　have never been anywhere的意思是“不曾出过国”,不作“哪儿也没去过”解。例如:Why wouldn't you let me go to Europe that time?I've never been anywhere.你为什么不让我在那个时候到欧洲去呢?我不曾出过国。
